4th reflection_Edrian Rosales

This is me Edrian Rosales
On our 4th reflection, we study the Fundamental Roles of IS and Information Management PowerPoint in preparation for the 1st long quiz in CC 105. On February 5, Sir Dexter gave us enough time to study Chapters 1 and 2. That day, I was simply searching on the website about the Fundamentals of IS and Information Management so that I could prepare well for the quiz. I really pursue myself to understand the key concepts, definitions, and roles of information systems in modern organizations because Sir Dexter told us the study only the chapter 1 and 2.

So, on February 6, our first long quiz. We were ready for the questions, and thankfully, after checking our papers, almost all of us got an average score out of 30 items. Although the quiz was a bit challenging, I realized that my preparation helped me answer confidently. Some questions were a little bit understandable because they were directly from the PowerPoint, while others required deeper understanding.

From this experience, I realized that studying before a quiz, exam, or any academic test is very important, not just for students but for everyone who wants to improve their knowledge and skills. So Preparation have big impact to me because it recall the important information and reduces stress that calm my mind. It had a big impact also to me because I learned on how to manage my time better and concentrate on the things I wanted to do. Time management is a very important to me as a student because you can prepare for the things, not only in academics but also in real life. I also discovered that consistency in studying makes learning easier and more effective.

This experience taught me the value of discipline, focus, and responsibility. From now on, I will continue to apply in myself to always be responsible to my study specially if there's a coming quizzes or tests and hopefully for the next discussion I learned another knowledge to this subject.
